Focused Multivector Ultraviolet light (FMUV)

delivery and physics is everything

Our proprietary physics based light technology, FMUV, converges from all sides & creates uniform energy that accelerates germicidal kill in 90-120 seconds without shadowing and 99.9% effectiveness. And the E300 is the only system where the user doesn’t need to evacuate the room.

The FMUV Difference

TRADITIONAL UV

Point source UV drops off dramatically as you move away from unit.

Conventional Single Point Source UV Energy Distribution

Traditional UV limited in performance by inverse square law – UV intensity decreases with increased distance from the source. The design makes performance unreliable and increases time.

LEVIANT FMUV

Uniform distribution of light with Leviant's FMUV is more effective

Revolutionary Focused Multivector Ultraviolet Energy Distribution

Leviant FMUV converges from all sides creating a uniform volume of energy to accelerate germicidal kill without shadowing.

Our patented FMUV delivery system
makes all the difference.

It’s well-known that UV light does a very good job of destroying pathogens that can be harmful to human health. However, at Leviant we’re not satisfied with very good. We’re aiming for the best ever.

Our highly innovative FMUV antimicrobial cleaning products go far beyond UV, delivering focused multivector UV light from multiple sides, not just a single source like traditional UV. This creates a concentrated, uniform volume of energy for superior germicidal kill that eliminates shadows.

Our devices kill over 99.9% of microorganisms that pose serious risks to human health, including bacteria, mold, fungi and viruses. And they’re not just effective, they’re very, very fast: 90-120 seconds for maximum antimicrobial cleaning  — that’s 20-30x faster than traditional UV.

What does this mean for you? Cleaner environments. Faster germicidal kill. Safer workforces. Quicker turnover time for cleaning. Lower labor costs. And the knowledge that all treated equipment and surfaces are cleaned beyond current industry standards.

Software that records
+ tracks infection prevention.

Our devices send cycle information to a secure web-portal enabling leaders to better understand how and when the devices are being used.  Dashboards give the viewer the ability to quickly see this information in a quick, digestible format.  For additional details, the viewer can drill down into each device, room and user. Reports can also be downloaded and printed.

*Leviant self-contained software solution is fully independent of hospital IT systems and tracks non-PHI data only.

The tools & data to drive
continuous improvement.

Everything you need for superior cleaning.

FAQs

Why ultraviolet light?

For years, the deployment of high intensity, broad spectrum ultraviolet (UV) light has been proven to be a highly effective way of destroying harmful pathogens on surfaces and in liquids, air and enclosed spaces. In fact, using UV light to disinfect drinking water dates back to 1916 in the US. When compared to manual cleaning methods, UV light cleans environments far better and in a fraction of the time.

What exactly is ultraviolet light?

Violet is the color with the highest frequencies in the visible light spectrum. Ultraviolet (UV) means “beyond violet” and has a higher frequency (and therefore a shorter wavelength) than violet light, which puts it beyond what the human eye can see.

There are three types of UV light: UVA, UVB and UVC. For UV cleaning, only UVC (100-280nm) has high enough energy to effectively kill microorganisms.

How does ultraviolet light clean?

When UV light penetrates an organism’s cell walls, the UVC radiation it emits is absorbed by the cell’s DNA, destroying its structure and rendering it inactive. The microorganism is then unable to reproduce within a host, and is no longer infectious.

Equally important is what UV doesn’t do...

It does not harm the environment or your staff with caustic chemicals like bleach, and harmful pathogens cannot develop resistance to it.

Benefits of UV Disinfection:

✔️ Environmentally friendly

✔️ Uses no chemicals

✔️ Very short cleaning cycle

✔️ Kills bacteria, mold, fungi and viruses

✔️ Clears environments far better than manual cleaning

✔️ Microbial cells cannot develop resistance to it

FMUV Cleans Better. Faster. Without Chemicals.
